Tipple expands to US

E-commerce alcohol platform Tipple is now available in the States, allowing European and US brands to open new markets.

Tipple aims to make selling alcohol overseas easier and without complications

Tipple was created by the founder of Mór Irish Gin, Eoin Bara, and allows brands to sell their products internationally from one website through direct-to-consumer (DTC) alcohol sales.

Originally, the platform was set up for Europe to enable European brands to grow overseas, but the expansion to the US means businesses from both regions can now access more markets.

The idea for Tipple is to make selling alcohol internationally ‘as simple as possible’. The platform automates the entire checkout, logistics, and compliance process. It handles cross-border sales, so brands can focus on creating their products

Some the platform’s features include efficient order fulfilment managed entirely by Tipple, ‘strategically located’ warehouses across the world, comprehensive logistics management, and full compliance of international regulations.

Bara said: “We’re thrilled to bring Tipple to the US market – our goal is to take the hassle out of international alcohol sales, making it easier for businesses to reach customers across the globe, and for brands to make more money.

“With our expansion into the USA, we’re providing the infrastructure needed to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.”

Tipple will also be sponsoring the Brand of the Year prize at The Spirits Business Awards 2024 in November.

Last year it revealed several trends – taken from data from its platform and information from its brand partners – that showed European consumers are increasingly favouring agave spirits and rum.
