Heavenly Spirits announces e-commerce launch
By Miona MadsenMassachusetts-based Heavenly Spirits is launching an online buying option to expand its distribution in the US.

Heavenly Spirits’ soon-to-be-launched e-commerce platform will provide a convenient way to explore and purchase products from its portfolio, which will be easily accessible to most states in the US.
The company implemented the new buying option in response to expected rising online sales across the US.
The platform will allow users to view available products for shipment in each state.
“As the industry changes, we do our best to change with it. We would often get calls from consumers around the country looking to purchase some of our spirits, but the three-tier alcohol distribution system prevented us from selling directly,” said Daniel Cooney, co-owner of Heavenly Spirits.
Initially, the website will offer around 50 products, with plans to add more in the future.
In California, the company has partnered with Barbank alcohol delivery for the venture and will continue to have regular distribution partners in more than 40 states.
Heavenly Spirits was established in 2008 by Christine and Daniel Cooney in Lakeville, Massachusetts.
The company specialises in importing French spirits, such as Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados and whisky, to the US.
The now accessible online catalogue of brands includes Normandin-Mercier Cognac, Bastille 1789 and Armorik whiskies, Kiki Vendée apéritif and Le Bateleur ready-to-drink cocktails.
