Desi Daru targets UK bars

Vodka producer Desi Daru has teamed up with UK distributor Nightcap Brands to enhance its presence in the on-trade.

The vodka will now be available in bars across the UK through its partnership with sales agency Nightcap Brands.

Nightcap Brands was founded by Ciaran McNicholas and James Shaw in 2020.

Mohit Singh, co-founder of Desi Daru, said: “I’m really excited for Desi Daru to join Nightcap brands. Having seen the work Ciaran and James have done over the last few years gives me confidence that they are the right fit in our ambitions for further expansion in the UK market.”

Founded by Singh and his wife Aneet Kaur, the brand was designed to fuse Indian and British flavours through its vodka expressions.

Desi Daru’s Alphonso Mango flavour was awarded with the top Taste Master accolade at The Vodka Masters 2023 blind-tasting competition.

Desi Daru recently launched its first cocktail competition, which is open to bartenders across the UK.
