Cotswolds debuts digital gin campaign

England-based Cotswolds Distillery has launched a digital summer campaign, ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’, for Cotswolds Dry Gin.

The campaign highlights the gin’s cloudy and dry characteristics, which result from the high volume of essential oils in the botanicals.

The ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’ campaign, produced and directed by View Creative, communicates the gin’s cloudy appearance while ‘tapping into the English obsession with unpredictable British weather’.

Following the success of the distillery’s previous campaign, ‘English for Whisky’, in autumn 2023, the digital campaign aims to further cement Cotswolds’ reputation for producing high-quality English spirits.

The campaign was conceived by the distillery’s founder, Dan Szor, and realised by marketing director Kate Harrison alongside View Creative.

“We are really excited to bring to life our Cotswolds Dry Gin through this engaging and quirky campaign, ‘Today will be Cloudy and Dry’. It plays on two of the key features our gin offers consumers: a dry gin but one which has a beautiful and cloudy appearance when mixed with ice and tonic. We hope it communicates the story of our brand and how we have created a distinctive and very English gin full of flavour,” said Szor.

The fully integrated campaign will include digital marketing, point of sale, PR and social media.

Cotswolds Dry Gin is offered at 46% ABV and retails for £37 (US$44).

In November last year, Cotswolds Distillery partnered with Highgrove to create a limited edition whisky to honour King Charles III’s 75th birthday.
