Ramsbury expands core range
UK-based Ramsbury Distillery has added a raspberry and wildflower honey gin to its permanent range.
Originally a limited edition, seasonal release, the gin first launched in July 2023.
However, the summer-inspired expression has been added to the distillery’s core range due to popular demand.
Ramsbury said the expression “brings flavours of the spring-summer countryside to your glass’.
The sustainably made gin infuses fresh botanicals such as juniper and quince into the estate’s Ramsbury Vodka. Blended with fresh raspberry juice, the flavour is enhanced with honey from the distillery’s bees, which collect nectar from the wildflower meadows of the estate.
The palate delivers a ‘mature, vibrant flavour with a touch of sweetness’ and a ‘tart, juicy finish with wildflower honey’s delicate, earthy sweetness’.
Ramsbury recommends mixing the gin with tonic or as a base for refreshing, summery cocktails, with recipes on the brand’s website.
Raspberry & Wildflower Honey is offered at 38% ABV and retails for £36 (US$45) per 700ml bottle.
Ramsbury Distillery was established in 2014 and makes a wide range of products, from local produce and beer to vodka and flavoured gins.
The distillery, located in Wiltshire, England, is hosting a Beer & Cocktail Festival on 18 May, with tickets available on its website.
In October 2023, the brand expanded to Canada by partnering with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario.
