Award-winning Ramsbury successfully secures listing in Canada
Gin lovers in Canada can finally get their hands on quintessentially English Ramsbury Gin after the producer secured a partnership with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) in Canada.
It’s no easy feat securing a listing with the LCBO – particularly when competing within the highly saturated gin category. This success from Ramsbury demonstrates the brand’s commitment to crafting a gin that combines both traditional distillation methods and creative, modern flair.
Furthermore, Ramsbury’s Gin and Vodka will be heading to British Columbia and Alberta from October this year, as the brand pursues its international expansion plans.
Kristofer Purawec, CEO and Canadian distributor of Woodland Brands, said: “We are excited to introduce Ramsbury Gin and Vodka to Canadian gin and vodka enthusiasts. The combination of Ramsbury’s rich UK heritage and its exceptional quality make it a valuable addition to our roster.”
The spirits are carefully crafted in the beautiful English village of Ramsbury. The farm stretches across 19,600 acres of Northeast Wiltshire, West Berkshire and North Hampshire, which grows all the wheat used to make the distillery’s award-winning gin and vodka.
A 43-plate copper column still means each bottle of Ramsbury Gin is smooth, fruity and leaning towards the sweeter end of a traditional London Dry style.
Ramsbury’s move into the Canadian market follows a spell of new product development from the team, including recent launches such as the limited edition Raspberry and Wildflower Honey Gin. Made using natural raspberry juice and wildflower honey – all sourced from the Ramsbury Estate – the gin is recommended served in a classic gin and tonic, or a Ramsbury signature serve (keep scrolling for recommendations).

Grapefruit Garden Punch
Ingredients (to serve 10 people)
500ml Ramsbury Gin
250ml Grapefruit juice
250ml Simple syrup
750ml English sparkling wine
500ml Soda
Basil leaves and grapefruit slices to garnish
Method: Add all ingredients plus cubed ice to a punch bowl. Top with English sparkling wine and soda water.
Estate Elderflower Collins
Ingredients (to serve 10 people)
500ml Ramsbury Gin
250ml Elderflower liqueur
200ml Lemon juice
10 Cucumber strips
20 Mint leaves
Soda water
Cucumber strips and mint leaves to garnish
Method: Add all ingredients plus cubed ice to a jug. Top up with soda water. Serve in highball glasses.
