The Society has secured 350 bottles of Cachaça Magnífica de Faria Reserva Soleira, offering its members an opportunity to taste ‘authentic’ Brazilian flavours.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Rare Spirits Society. It allows Magnífica Cachaça to become part of a global society of rum aficionados. The Society’s growing reach provides brands like ours with an invaluable opportunity to connect directly with consumers under one cohesive and passionate community,” said Raul de Faria, CEO of Magnífica Cachaça.

Cachaça Magnífica was established in 1985 by João Luiz de Faria in the Rio de Janeiro mountains.

The distillery’s triple copper pot still, named Alegria, reflects its commitment to reviving the ‘best traditions of cachaça production’, achieved through a double-distillation process combined with the use of indigenous yeast and specialised ageing techniques.

The founders of RSS, Antonio López de Haro and Luigi Rockets, recognise this partnership as a testament to their mission of curating ‘rare rums and rare minds’.

“Partnering with Cachaça Magnífica marks a milestone in our journey,” said López de Haro. “Their dedication to quality mirrors our own, and we’re thrilled to offer our Rare Spirits Society members a taste of Magnífica’s distinctive craft.”

Through the collaboration, 350 bottles have been reserved for RSS’s first 300 members and the remainder for tastings, reviews and marketing events.

The Society’s long-term relationship with Magnífica includes exclusive masterclasses, a cask programme and in-person distillery experiences.

In April this year, RSS launched a rum and travel adventure YouTube docuseries, Uncharted Territories, with the first episode in Cambodia.

In 2025, the series is scheduled to visit the Cachaça Magnífica distillery in Brazil.
