IAADFS adds Julia Seve to board of directors
The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has made a new addition to its board of directors in Julia Seve, the current managing director for L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas.
In her 20-year experience with French cosmetics group L’Oréal, Seve has worked in Brazil and France, before moving to the US as managing director for the company’s travel retail arm in the Americas region.
Rene Riedi, IAADFS chairman, expressed his delight in bringing Seve to the team, saying that her “knowledge of the whole industry and of the expanding beauty sector in particular will be invaluable as we launch our new initiatives and explore ways to better serve our members”.
Michael Payne, IAADFS president and CEO, added: “Julia brings tremendous expertise and insights to the association through her many years representing one of the most prestigious brands in the industry.
“We are honoured and excited to have her join the IAADFS board.”
IAADFS also recently added Lisa Bauer to its board of directors. Bauer serves as president and CEO of Starboard, which is the world’s leading holiday retailer at sea.
IAADFS’s Summit of the Americas show will take place once again in Florida in two weeks, between 14-17 April, and will hold two sessions with one focused on the cruise sector.
In addition to the seminars, drinks exhibitors confirmed for the summit include Bacardi, Beam Suntory, Diageo, Flor de Caña, Latin Gin and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
It is one of the biggest spirits events set to take place on the calendar for 2024.
