Lisa Bauer joins IAADFS board of directors

The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has added Lisa Bauer, of Starboard, to its board of directors.

Bauer is president and CEO of Starboard, the world’s leading holiday retailer at sea.

“It is an honour to join the IAADFS board of directors and continue to give back to the retail industry, as well as lend my expertise to advance the incredible opportunities available in the cruise sector,” Bauer said.

Her accomplishments include being selected as one of the ‘most powerful women in travel’ by Travel Agent Magazine, being awarded ‘top 100 women-led businesses in Florida’ by The Commonwealth Institute, and being named among the ‘top women in travel and hospitality by Women Leading Travel & Hospitality.

Her career includes leadership positions including vice-president of onboard experience at Delta Airlines, executive vice-president of global operations, and chief operating officer for International Cruise & Excursions.
