Second Master of Malt Trade event nears
By Melita KielyThe Master of Malt Trade Round Table Series will host its second talk next week, called ‘I’ve got the listing, what’s next?’

The Master of Malt Trade Round Table Series brings together leading professionals in the drinks retailing industry to discuss their learnings, tips and advice, targeted towards suppliers, producers and brands.
The upcoming webinar, in partnership with The Spirits Business, will offer insight into how to maximise opportunities that come with trading across multiple drinks channels.
It will offer advice on how to navigate a changing marketplace, what makes successful campaigns and how to make the most of listings when budgets are tight.
Speakers will include: Giovana Petry, head of brand and subscriptions, Master of Malt; Olivia Prince, e-commerce partner manager, Maverick Drinks; Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business; Josh McCartney, global trade marketing, Wolfie’s Whisky; and Mark Harvey, sales and marketing managing director, The Oxford Artisan Distillery.
The event will take place online on Monday 25 March from 10.30am to 12pm GMT.

The first event took place last year, called ‘Customer, Consumer & You’. It focused on the journey of getting products into stores, behind bars and into customers’ hands.
Last year, online drinks retailer Master of Malt experienced its biggest Black Friday sale to date.
The company’s 2023 insights report found Asian spirits were one of its fastest-growing categories.
