By Nicola CarruthersScotch whisky maker Compass Box has hired Stoli Group executive Jeff Popkin as its new president for the Americas.

Popkin, who currently serves as vice-president of sales at vodka producer Stoli Group, will oversee the US, Canadian and Latin American markets for Compass Box.

Doyle said he was thrilled that Popkin was joining the team, calling him a “proven sales leader”.
He added: “The US in particular is a vital market for us. This is a key appointment as we look to expand Compass Box’s presence in the Americas as part of our mission to grow the brand.”
