Cazcabel launches Margarita Month
Tequila brand Cazcabel is planning a month-long series of events across the UK in celebration of the Margarita in February.
After launching its inaugural Margarita Week in 2023, Cazcabel has extended the celebrations to cover the month of February in line with the UK’s ‘growing taste for Tequila’.
The launch of Margarita Month 2024 will see Cazcabel partner with nearly 400 bars across the nation to host masterclasses and dedicated Margarita menus.
Nate Sorby, Cazcabel’s global brand ambassador, said: “Our month-long activity is the perfect opportunity to showcase the variety in Cazcabel’s product offering and we’re excited for Margarita enthusiasts to try our delicious Tequila, whatever their preference is.”
Manchester bar Hudson Social will host several events including a Margarita-making masterclass on 22 February, followed by a fiesta on the following night. It will also offer a limited edition Margarita menu from 20-24 February.
A ‘Master your Margarita’ masterclass, run by Cazcabel brand ambassadors, will also be held in London at Salsa Soho (22 February), Salsa Temple (22 February) and Forge (28 February).
A ‘La Loteria’ Mexican bingo game will feature at three sites: London’s Cheeky Chicos (23 February), Newcastle’s Cog and Wheel (15 February) and Leicester’s Little Sister (22 February).
A number of bars will be involved in specially created Margarita menus, featuring serves such as a Coconut Margarita and a Coffee Margarita. Among the London venues taking part are Sabine, Tacos and Tequila, Mestizo Chelsea, Mestizo Euston and Cheeky Chicos.
Other venues getting involved include Manchester venues Pixel Bar and Lane7, Glasgow bars Arta and Delmonicas, Bristol-based Cargo Cantina and Nottingham’s Taquero.
Cazcabel’s range includes both a blanco and a reposado bottling, as well as flavoured expressions of coconut, honey and coffee.
The brand entered the US last year after securing distribution in several states, including California, New York and Kentucky.
