Absolut debuts bottled cocktails
By Lauren BowesPernod Ricard-owned vodka brand Absolut has expanded its ready-to-serve (RTS) range with two new bottled cocktails.
The newly launched Absolut Cocktails line includes a Vodka Mojito and an alcoholic Raspberry Lemonade.
The bottled cocktails join the brand’s canned range, which launched in 2023 and includes Espresso Martini, Passionfruit Martini and Strawberry Spritz.
“With prepared cocktails as the fastest growing spirits category, trending to overtake wine and spirits this year, we’re excited for Absolut to officially enter into the RTS space,” said Reshma Dhati, senior brand director of marketing.
“We’re giving time back with family and friends, without sacrificing the bar-quality cocktails that Absolut is known for.”
The cocktails have an ABV of 15% and contain five servings per 750ml bottle. Each bottle retails for US$18.99 and can be found in select retailers in the US.
The brand has started the year with a significant focus on new product development. So far in 2024, it has collaborated with both Sprite and Ocean Spray cranberry juice to create ready-to-drink (RTD) products and released a honey-flavoured vodka.
In 2023, Deb Dasgupta was appointed as Absolut’s vice-president of global marketing. The brand also partnered with Years & Years singer Olly Alexander and fashion designer and artist Dr Samuel Ross to create limited edition bottles.
