Netherlands win for Langley’s Gin

UK-based Charter Brands has signed a deal with Bart’s Bottles that will see Langley’s Gin distributed in the Dutch market.

Langley’s Gin is now available in more than 30 markets

The partnership forms part of Langley’s global expansion strategy, which has seen the brand enter seven new markets this year, including Turkey in September.

“In an era where consumers seek value in responsible, non-mainstream brands, a promising global path opens up for Langley’s Gin and our ethos: to be gin as it should be,” said Arkaitz Giménez, sales director at Charter Brands.

“We’re thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Bart’s Bottles in the Netherlands for Langley’s Gin. Its position as a premium brand distributor perfectly aligns with our vision and complements the calibre of importers we are partnering with.

“With an impressive history of building well-known brands within the Dutch market, Bart’s Bottles stands as the ideal collaborator to realise our ambition of firmly establishing our brand.”

In February, Langley’s Gin gained B Corp certification as it aims to become the ‘most responsible, accessible gin brand’ in the market.

Bart’s Bottles will introduce the range of gins to the on-trade in the Netherlands, after which it intends to secure national off-trade listings.

“As a craft importer and distributor, Bart’s Bottles is always on the lookout for new opportunities and partnerships,” said Bart Van Veen, owner of Bart’s Bottles.

“Langley’s Gin’s brand values and sustainable mission complement our own and make for a good addition to our portfolio.

“In the Dutch market, we look after high-end brands such as Tequila Ocho, East Imperial and Ron Botran. For each brand we look after, we develop a fitting strategy on how to successfully introduce this brand to our market and grow the market share in a sustainable way.

“In the long term, we see a good potential to convert Langley’s Gin premium pouring quality and positioning in national off-trade listings. We are keen to start building this brand to its full potential in our market.”
