Franklin & Sons has named Tommaso Cicala as its UK brand ambassador, while David Robinson has been appointed as the new global brand ambassador.

James Stimson, senior brand manager at Franklin & Sons, said: “I’m thrilled to introduce David and Tommaso to our community of operators and spirit partners.

“They both bring a wealth of industry experience from across the UK and globally, that strengthens our UK-centred campaigns and global expansion ambitions. Catch them at one of our many trade and consumer events this year, including Pub in the Park, Goodwood Races, and a variety of trade shows.”

Cicala will be based in London, but will work for the brand in areas across the country.

He has worked in bars and restaurants across Italy, London, New York and the Caribbean.

Meanwhile, Robinson has previously held brand ambassador roles for Pernod Ricard’s Scotch whisky portfolio.

Robinson will be based in Manchester, but will work with partner venues on a global basis around the US and Europe.

Franklin & Sons has been expanding its presence recently, by launching its summer campaign in collaboration with UK-based events including Pub in the Park and Goodwood Races, and promoting the ‘Spritz-sharing occasion’ with activations including Spritz terrace kits.

The tonic and mixer maker also partnered with hospitality support organisation So Let’s Talk in May, launching its support fund and sponsoring events during mental health awareness week.

The brand also featured in The Three Drinkers new third series.
