ProWein plans Tokyo event for 2024
By Melita KielyWine and spirits trade fair ProWein will host its inaugural show in Tokyo, Japan, next year.

The new ProWine Tokyo show will come as ProWein gears up to celebrate 30 years of its flagship event in Düsseldorf, Germany. Dates for the Tokyo show are yet to be announced.
ProWein will return to Düsseldorf from 10-12 March 2024.
Online registration for the show will remain open until 30 June 2023.
The ticket shop for trade visitors is expected to be available in December this year.
In the lead up to next year’s trade fair, show organiser Messe-Düsseldorf will host a number of exhibitions around the world.
In April, trade members attended ProWine Singapore, while ProWine Hong Kong is taking place from 10-12 May. Meanwhile, ProWine São Paulo will be held in October.
Earlier this year, the event organiser predicted a number of drinks trends for 2023.
In December 2022, the show revealed that Peter Schmitz would become the new director of ProWein, taking over from Michael Degen.
In 2022, the event welcomed more than 38,000 visitors.
Several new products were unveiled during the 2o23 Düsseldorf event, including the first American single malt from Yellowstone.
Furthermore, Rampur Distillery revealed its most recent bottling: Sangam World Malt Whisky.
A limited edition bottle design was also showcased by Cutty Sark, as the blended Scotch brand celebrated its 100th anniversary.
