On 1 June, The Global Spirits Masters Competitions (GSMC) will host The Gin Masters (first tasting) to award Silver, Gold and Master medals to brands that meet the judges’ expectations.

Entries will be accepted until Thursday 18 May, and samples will be needed by Friday 26 May.

Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business and chair of The GSMC, said: “Gin is an incredibly saturated category, but brands have a brilliant opportunity to communicate their quality to the consumer by receiving a medal through The GSMC.

“With so much variety on offer now, it has arguably never been more important for gin brands to secure international recognition as a professional seal of approval.

“Spanning all styles of gin, from London Dry and Old Tom to contemporary bottlings and cask-aged expressions, this year’s Gin Masters is already gearing up to be another fascinating tasting.”

Earlier this month, the results of The Cognac Masters, The Brandy Masters, and The Asian Spirits Masters were published.
