Gibson’s Botanical launched in France in 2022.

The London Dry gin is made with 15 botanicals to give a ‘herbaceous and spicy organoleptic profile’. The gin is said to be balanced with vegetable and citrus notes.

The packaging has been designed to reflect its herbaceous character, with gold and green details.

Gibson’s Botanical is recommended served with tonic water and cucumber slices, or in a London Mule with ginger beer, lime juice and a lemon twist to garnish. It sits at 37.5% ABV.

Gibson’s is owned by French drinks group La Martiniquaise-Bardinet. In June 2022, the company added a blood orange-flavoured expression to the gin brand’s portfolio.

Gibson’s Blood Orange was the second flavoured gin in the brand’s range, following the release of Gibson’s Pink Gin in 2019.

In other news from La Martiniquaise-Bardinet, last year the company debuted Ching Shih Dark Spiced. The premium Caribbean spirit drink was inspired by Zheng Yi Sao, a Chinese female pirate also known as Ching Shih.

In 2021, the company took a majority stake in Bolognia-based firm Mixer Cocktails for an undisclosed sum.
