Indian consumers continue to demand premium products, which comes as no surprise with the country being the world’s seventh largest country by area, and the second most populous country with a growing population currently at 1.3 billion people.

Given such a need, WATTSHOT is extremely passionate about the road map for the next five years, which has been jointly planned with Amistad, utilising the distributor’s experience in positioning brands to target a wide demographic of Indian consumers.

“Amistad spirits, based in Delhi, India, was a perfect choice for us, being a niche, exclusive distribution company, having extensive experience in the alcohol market and whom have the luxury of handpicking their clients,” said Stuart Logan, co-founder of WATTSHOT.

“Amistad Spirits have an amazing team with a wide reach within the Indian continent and we are very excited to part of the expansion journey into the incredible Indian continent that it is.”

As part of this journey Amistad Spirits co-founder and CEO Sachin Abrol promises to “create exquisite drinking experiences, and we have partnered up with some of the world’s celebrated brands, from Champagne, gin and rum to vodka with WATTSHOT complementing the portfolio to this promise. We are delighted to collaborate with such an innovative brand who has not only mastered the taste but created a truly iconic brand.”

The journey into India is clearly a huge success for WATTSHOT as it continues to grow and launch into several markets.
