Lanique expands into pre-mixed category
By Georgie CollinsFloral liqueur brand Lanique has released two ready-to-drink (RTD) pre-mixed cocktails featuring its two most popular serves.
The new 250ml cans include the Lanique Rose Spritz, offered at 5.5% ABV, which combines Lanique Spirit of Rose with light tonic and a splash of sparkling wine; and the 6% ABV Lanique Rose Fizz – which mixes premium sparkling wine with the pink liqueur.
Managing director Kieran Gandhi said: “Our pre-mixed cocktails provide a great way to showcase Lanique’s versatility due to its unique flavour and 39% ABV strength. It’s been great to see the positive reaction we have already had to the cans, from retail to five star hotel stockists.”
Both cans have an RRP of £4 (US$4.78) per can and provide two servings.
Lanique is a spirit that is said to offer subtle notes of rose with hints of Turkish Delight.
The liqueur offers aromas of delicate rose and raspberry, with soft hints of lime. On the palate, sweet pastilles of rose, fresh raspberry and cherry are present, with a subtle undertone of spice and a fresh citrus hit to finish.
The rose-coloured liquid is made from a 200-year-old recipe, using Attar of Rose; the pure essence of rose, created by steam-distilling thousands of hand-picked rose petals, which are said to be more valuable than gold gram for gram.
The design of the RTDs pays tribute to its value, with splashes of gold and rich blue tones honouring the heritage of the brand.
Both RTDs are available online at lanique.co.uk and on the shelves at London’s dedicated RTD bar, Bō Kiri.
Lanique Spirit of Rose is also available in 700ml, 500ml and 50ml mini bottles, available from all spirits wholesalers, Amazon and lanique.co.uk.
