K-pop star Lisa designs Chivas Regal bottle
By Melita KielyBlended Scotch whisky Chivas Regal has collaborated with K-pop singer Lisa to design a limited edition bottle.
The bottle follows the brand’s initial partnership with Lisa earlier this year, when she became the first female face of Chivas in Asia.
Lisa was born in 1997, the same year Chivas 18 made its debut. The bottle design features a detachable 18-karat gold-plated logo charm that fans can keep.
Furthermore, the Chivas Luckenbooth (a Scottish heart-shaped brooch) has been overhauled, and takes centre-stage with Lisa’s trademark star logo across the bottle’s outer box.
Lisa said: “I had so much fun working with the team at Chivas on this limited edition bottle. The bottle is typical Lisa – bright, bold and unique – and I am so excited for everyone to finally see it. It is amazing to now have my own bottle – and cocktail too.”
The partnership with Lisa is part of the brand’s ‘I Rise, We Rise’ platform, designed to celebrate and elevate the next generation of ‘hustlers’.
Nick Blacknell, Chivas global marketing director, commented: “As we continue to elevate Chivas for a new generation, it is important that we collaborate with people who represent this new generation of whisky drinkers.
“Our partnership with Lisa resonates with people across several passion points – whether that’s fashion or music – and brings a convention-breaking, contemporary cool to the world of Scotch whisky.
“It was a natural next step in our collaboration with Lisa to add her flair to one of our most prestigious blends, bringing to life the bold attitude that both Chivas and Lisa share.
“With this limited edition launch, we are offering fans a taste of the creativity and innovation behind the partnership, and we look forward to seeing how people react to it.”
The parent company of Chivas Regal, Chivas Brothers, posted 25% net sales growth for its 2022 financial year.
