Dead Man’s Fingers expands range

Halewood Artisanal Spirits has added a Tequila-based coffee liqueur and ready-to-drink (RTD) Margarita to its Dead Man’s Fingers portfolio.

Dead Man's Fingers
The Coffee Tequila Liqueur clocks in at 18% ABV

The brand’s Coffee Tequila Liqueur blends the brand’s Tequila with the flavours of ‘bittersweet’ coffee. Dead Man’s Fingers recommends the bottling served over ice, as a shot or in a cocktail such as an Espresso Martini.

Meanwhile, the Margarita RTD is presented in a canned format, and contains Dead Man’s Fingers Tequila Reposado.

Rachel Adams, marketing director, Dead Man’s Fingers, said: “Originally the non-conformist rum of choice, Dead Man’s Fingers has recently lent its disruptive style to relevant new categories, injecting excitement and recruiting a new generation of consumers.

“The launch of our latest Tequila-based products, the Coffee Tequila Liqueur and Margarita RTD, are no exception.”

Both products are available to purchase now, with the 18% ABV Coffee Liqueur retailing for RRP £18 (US$), and the Margarita Mix for £1.99 per can. The RTD clocks in at 5% ABV.

Adams added: “We know that the liqueur category continues to perform well, whilst coffee flavours are also in high demand amongst consumers, so we’re confident that our Coffee Tequila Liqueur will prove popular with spirits drinkers.

“Likewise, RTDs continue to see good traction, and have continued to grow faster than any other drinks categories since 2018.

“We’ve seen great success with the initial launch of our RTD trio – Spiced Rum & Cola, Spiced Rum & Ginger, Passion Fruit Rum & Lemonade – and are confident that our new Margarita can will also be a popular choice amongst shoppers looking for a great quality cocktail at very accessible price point.”

In other news, earlier this year, a complaint held against the brand regarding its association with dangerous behaviour was not have been upheld.
