Kirker Shamrock reveals autumn campaign

Irish whiskey Kirker Shamrock has unveiled an online campaign to highlight autumnal cocktails that can be made from home.

Kirker Shamrock
The whiskey is a blend of 60% grain and 40% malt/pot still whiskey

The whiskey brand, said to be Ireland’s only four-province blend, is rolling out the campaign this week.

The campaign features recipe videos, presented by brand ambassador Peter Moore.

The recipes include: The Kirker Tipperary, comprising Kirker Shamrock, sweet vermouth, green chartreuse, and orange bitters; The Kirker Old Fashioned, which mixes Kirker Shamrock, sugar syrup, and Angostura Bitters; Kirker Whiskey Sour, a blend of lemon juice, sugar syrup, and Kirker Shamrock; Kirker Irish Coffee, which sees a blend of coffee, demerara syrup, Kirker Shamrock and whipped cream; and a Kirker Collins – lemon juice, sugar syrup, and Kirker Shamrock topped with soda water.

To create Kirker whiskey, the brand uses three different styles of Irish whiskey in a single blend, said to be ‘quite unusual’.

Single grain, single malt and single pot still whiskeys all feature, ‘enriched’ by first fill ex-Bourbon and oloroso Sherry casks.

The resulting liquid contains a blend of 60% grain and 40% malt/pot still whiskey.

Richard Ryan, Drinksology Kirker Greer co-founder and head of liquid development, crafted the bottling.

The 43% ABV whiskey is distributed internationally by Kirker Greer Spirits in countries including Germany, Poland and France.
