Gin Guild inducts 25 members
The Gin Guild has installed 25 new members, including the founder and managing director of Nordic Gin House as a warden.
The Gin Guild, which marked its 10th anniversary at Mansion House in London this year, now has more than 400 members from across the world. The industry body has doubled in size over the past five years.
Pal Gleed, director general of The Gin Guild, said: “The international growth of the Guild and the number of excellent craft distillers joining our ranks demonstrate the wealth of innovation taking place in the industry and the benefits we can all gain by collaborating together to promote the versatility and excitement of the category.”
New members from the UK, Peru, India, Estonia, Norway, Sweden and Denmark were welcomed into the Guild at its Autumn Installation on 14 October, which took place before the Annual Banquet of its parent company, The Worshipful Company of Distillers.

Also among the new members were Jon Hulme and Jon Burke, co-founders of the Craft Gin Club, a gin subscription service in the UK.
