Patrón marks Paloma Month with party
Glasgow cocktail bar and brasserie Kelvingrove Café will mark the end of Patrón Paloma Month with a party this Thursday.
Set to take place on 25 August, the Paloma Playlist Party will begin at 7pm BST.
Guests will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis, and will be able to enjoy a menu offering five variations of the Tequila-based Paloma cocktail.
Craig Moog will be providing the evening’s soundtrack; the DJ has curated a playlist to deliver a multi-sensory experience for guests.
Lauren Doherty, of Patrón, said: “Leading the celebrations for Patrón Paloma Month, we’re excited to partner with Kelvingrove Café to offer a new way to celebrate Mexico’s national cocktail.
“The Paloma is definitely enjoying its moment right now in the UK with a 54% increase in popularity this past year alone.
“Make sure you enjoy the drink of the summer before it’s too late in the stylish surroundings of Kelvingrove Café, and come along and help us party at the Paloma Playlist.”
Patrón Paloma Month will run until the end of August at Kelvingrove Café, located on Argyle Street in Glasgow, Scotland.
Mal Spence, drinks strategy at Kelvingrove Café, added: “Paloma Month is our third activation of the year and brings together three of our favourite things at Kelvingrove Café: great cocktails, great music and great Tequila.”
Earlier this month, Patrón Tequila unveiled a virtual reality cocktail experience in Decentraland.
Meanwhile, in July the Tequila brand teamed up with Franklin & Sons to provide more than 700 free cocktail kits for UK consumers to celebrate National Tequila Day on 24 July.
