Creamy Creation creates low-calorie cream liqueur

Leading B2B (business-to-business) cream liqueur developer and manufacturer Creamy Creation has launched a low-calorie and low-sugar edition of its product.

The B2B developer has introduced a cream liqueur said to contain 40% less calories and sugar than a ‘traditional’ cream liqueur.

Five flavours will be rolled out: Classic, Mango Passionfruit Coconut, Mango Lime Mint Splash, Churros de Leche, and Tiramisu.

Jeroen Huiskes, global innovation manager of Creamy Creation said: “The alcoholic beverage category is the fastest growing category for launches tracked with sugar reduction claims globally.

“Cream liqueurs are known for their indulgent and rich flavour profile. We wanted to create a low-calorie, low-sugar option that doesn’t compromise on taste or mouthfeel and has a lighter drinking experience.”

The brand says that sugar- and calorie-reduction claims are increasing globally every year, driven by ‘health-conscious consumers’ looking to indulge ‘without the guilt’.

The line will be available in spirit-based and wine-based versions, and the products are fully customisable to be be made with any flavour combination.

Earlier this year, the brand released three new non-alcoholic concepts to shake up the no-ABV category, as well as unveiling a new plant-based line of vegan creamy liqueurs in 2021.
