Returning for 2022, this year’s support programme will once again take place digitally as the Jägermeister Scholarship x Virtual Edition.

The Jägermeister Scholarship was introduced 10 years ago to help burgeoning bartenders develop their skills behind the bar, and to build a worldwide community of likeminded professionals.

Nils Boese, global brand ambassador of Jägermeister and mentor of the programme, commented: “What we had to switch to online two years ago, due to the pandemic, has proved to be very successful.

“We work together in a completely uncomplicated, very collaborative way and with a lot of pleasure. We have prepared many exciting topics for the new issue.”

Applications for the Jägermeister Scholarship x Virtual Edition will remain open until 13 June. To apply, bartenders must be aged between 21 and 35 years old, and live in one of the 17 countries that are part of the brand’s ‘Hubertus Circle’ network.

Applications can be made via the Hubertus Circle website: https://hubertuscircle.com/scholarship/scholarship-2022/.

The three-month scholarship programme offers young bartenders the chance to grow their knowledge, share ideas and tackle topics related to the bar industry.

Successful applicants will benefit from coaching and masterclasses with internationally renowned industry professionals. The scholars will report on their activities and experiences on the Hubertus Circle website, Jägermeister’s international bartender network. Experiences will also be documented on the @hubertus_circle_ Instagram account.

Nina Eggeling, manager of global culture and experiential marketing at Mast-Jägermeister, said: “Whether analogue or digital, our Jägermeister scholarship is a successful model and the places are highly sought after.

“We are looking forward to the new applications and are very pleased that we can once again offer young bartenders three inspiring months.”
