Fridays to offer cocktails and circus acts
Classic cocktails and circus entertainment will be on offer at new eatery Fridays this weekend, as the chain celebrates the opening of its latest venue.
Located in Chelmsford, UK, the latest site is the 87th Fridays venue in the UK.
With room to accommodate more than 250 guests indoors, and 26 outside, the venue hopes to cement its position as a family-friendly food-and-drink experience.
Dishes will be made fresh to order, while a selection of classic cocktails ‘full of energy and theatre’ will be shaken and stirred by trained bartenders.
The venue opened its doors last week on Friday 13 May, and will provide circus-themed entertainment this weekend to mark the occasion. Guests can expect jugglers, balloon modellers, acrobats and stilts.
Robert B Cook, Fridays CEO, said: “Family get-togethers happen at Fridays all over the country and we expect Chelmsford to be no different.”
Fridays first opened in New York in 1965 with flowing cocktails and ‘charismatic’ bartenders.
The new Chelmsford site will also broadcast live sport (including Sky Sports and BT Sport), with bundle deals mid-week.
