Distributed by Kirker Greer Spirits, the brand’s Export Strength gin contains a higher ABV than any other products in the Jawbox range at 47%.

John Soden, chief commercial officer of Kirker Greer Spirits, said: “We are delighted to partner with Dufry on our Jawbox Gin brand and bring it to the travel retail channel.

“Jawbox has been an extremely popular brand in our portfolio since its launch in 2016, with high demand across the UK, Europe and Australia and we are delighted to see it gain further momentum in another critical channel for the brand.”

The Export Strength gin is triple distilled in copper pot stills to give the liquid a ‘smoother’ profile. It is presented in a black matt-finish bottle.

Soden added: “We look forward to working with the team at Dufry and building upon the success of Jawbox across their retail stores over the coming years.”

The Jawbox Gin distillery is based in Northern Ireland on a 16th-century estate, where the majority of the grain used in the spirit is grown and harvested.

The liquid is made with a blend of 11 botanicals, including citrus, juniper and coriander.

Last year, the gin brand strengthened its foothold in the Australian market through a new listing with liquor retailer Dan Murphy’s.

Jawbox also debuted its first ready-to-drink cocktails in 2021, which are available in the UK.
