PLD Paris reveals innovation-led speaker schedule

The Packaging of Premium & Luxury Drinks (PLD) Paris event has unveiled the programme for its 2022 show, featuring talks from industry experts.

Speakers have been confirmed for the 2022 event

PLD Paris will take place on 19 and 20 January next year at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, held alongside the Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF) and the Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics & Design (PCD) show.

Organised by Easyfairs, the event was originally scheduled for June 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic.

PLD Paris will focus on sustainability and innovation in luxury drinks packaging, bringing together more than 150 suppliers and over 1,600 brands, plus buyers and packaging experts.

The event attracts businesses and brands such as Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Absolut, Bacardi, Jägermeister, Moët Hennessy, Martini, Rémy Cointreau, Edrington, The Coca-Cola Company and La Martiniquaise.

The 2022 show will feature more than 30 speakers from industry innovators, including representatives from Pernod Ricard’s Havana Club rum brand, The (Re)set Company, So Wine, Color Grail, ESI Reims and Planet Design Paris.

Talks will cover topics such as regulations and future challenges for the industry, the new role of design agencies in creating an exceptional object, and the sustainable materials of the future. The full agenda of speakers is now available online.

The fair will culminate with the PLD Innovation Awards ceremony, which recognises cutting-edge design. It will mark the first time the awards show has been held in person.
