Diamond Logistics partners with Linnworks

UK-based Diamond Logistics has teamed up with e-commerce platform Linnworks, enabling retailers to benefit from delivery and fulfilment services in one place.

Linnworks can now manage logistics for retailers through its partnership with Diamond

The logistics firm has integrated its operations with Linnworks, a system designed to manage online sales and inventory across selling platforms and automate marketplace listings.

The partnership means that Linnwork users can benefit from Diamond’s logistics fulfilment services, including carrier and warehouse management, and view and manage listings in one place.

According to Diamond, the collaboration offers ‘streamlined integration and full transparency from multi-marketplace listings to storage and delivery’. It also enables retailers to focus on sourcing and selling their products.

“Linnworks is an important integration for us,” explained Daniel Allin, chief innovation officer. “We were being contacted by e-commerce retailers using the Linnworks platform, but still needed warehouse and carrier support. Whilst Linnworks offers direct carrier integration, it doesn’t offer a logistics management service.

“By combining Despatch Lab and Linnworks, e-commerce retailers can benefit from both front-end and back-end support.”

Shipments are tracked through Diamond’s Despatch Lab technology, which chooses a suitable carrier and automatically updates Linnworks.

Furthermore, Linnworks users can fully outsource their fulfilment to Diamond, with the company packing and delivering the parcel through an appropriate carrier.

Earlier this year, the CEO of Diamond Logistics spoke to The Spirits Business about the challenges facing the packaging industry.
