No.3 Vesper Martini secures new listings
By Melita KielyBerry Bros & Rudd has made its ready-to-drink (RTD) No.3 Vesper Martini a permanent fixture in the UK.
The pre-bottled cocktail was originally launched as a limited edition bottling in April this year.
The Vesper Martini is now available from 42 John Lewis stores and approximately 28 Booths shops nationwide. It will also be available online.
Berry Bros & Rudd created the RTD in partnership with Alessandro Palazzi, of Dukes Bar in London. It combines No.3 Gin with vodka and vermouth.
A QR code on the bottle will take consumers to tips from Palazzi and No.3 Gin brand ambassador Ross Bryant on how to mix the perfect Vesper Martini at home.
Palazzi said: “The Vesper Martini is an homage to James Bond – to the first novel, Casino Royale, and to the beautiful spy, Vesper Lynd.
“It is the most popular Martini at Dukes; my recreated version uses English vermouth and Polish vodka, a nod to both the writer and the agent, and most importantly No.3 Gin – a proper, honest, juniper-led gin, just as it should be.”
Each 500ml bottle serves five cocktails and is priced at £29.95 (US$41). The ABV sits at 28.6%.
