ProWine HK show hailed a success
By adminWine and spirits fair ProWine Hong Kong saw more than 21,000 visitors attend its show earlier this month.

This year’s ProWine Hong Kong show was held on 7-9 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The trade fair was held alongside food and hospitality trade show Hofex in the same venue.
The show’s organisers said the fair, which was held both in-person and online, was a ‘roaring success’.
The fair combined online business matchmaking and a physical trade show.
The opening ceremony of the fair was officiated by Paul Chan Mo-po, financial secretary for the Hong Kong government.
The three-day event showcased new products and offered seminars and tastings.
The fair’s business matchmaking platform remains open for visitors to network and will close on 23 September at 7pm (UTC+8).
Damith Weerakoon, director of marketing and operations, Milestone Beverages HK, said: “With the current pandemic conditions preventing international attendees and exhibitors, tasting restrictions and reduced scale of the show, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of visitors and organisation of ProWine at Hofex 2021.
“As main sponsor for the 2021 HK Professional Mixologist challenge, Milestone invested heavily into the show and partnered closely with the organisers.”
