Mark Anthony Brands has teamed up with delivery app Gorillas in the UK to make White Claw the only hard seltzer available to order.
The delivery app will offer two flavours of White Claw’s hard seltzers, Lime and Mango, across locations in the UK.
Michael Dean, the UK head of marketing at White Claw, said: “We’re so happy that White Claw will not only be available on the Gorillas app for even more people to enjoy, but will also be the only global hard seltzer drink available via the app too.
“This partnership marries two brands aligned in challenging their categories – from the way we shop to the way we drink; White Claw and Gorillas are here to shake up these UK industries.”
The partnership between the Supreme Brand Champion and Gorillas, the latter brand founded in 2020, will see hard seltzers being brought to consumers’ doors on demand with an average delivery speed of 10 minutes.
A spokesperson for Gorillas said: “With Gorillas, we aim to support local businesses where the app is available, or those we see as challenging the status quo, and we’ve loved how White Claw has been able to create a new category in the alcoholic drinks market in such a short space of time.”
In 2020, market leader White Claw saw its volumes more than double from 24.4 million cases to 58.5m nine-litre cases, an achievement which earned the ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage the title of Supreme Brand Champion in The Spirits Business’ annual report of million-case-selling brands.
The Mango and Lime hard seltzers are available in 250ml cans, with an ABV of 4.5% each.
Both flavours can be purchased from the app for £2.50 (US$3.46) each, plus a delivery fee.
