Irish Coffee

The ubiquitous Irish classic, the Irish Coffee. This iteration from London bar Swift calls for the use of Jameson Caskmates Irish whiskey.

Ingredients

40ml Jameson Caskmates
75ml Robusto filter coffee

Demerara sugar

Double cream
Fresh nutmeg

Method: Lightly whip the cream until it is very slightly thickened, then set aside. In a serving glass, combine the Jameson Caskmates, coffee and Demerara sugar to taste. Slowly pour the cream over a bar spoon and onto the coffee, making sure the cream floats on top. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
