Brendan Buckley, international marketing director at Irish Distillers, said: “St Patrick’s Day is a day to celebrate all that Ireland represents – culture, music and togetherness.
“Jameson is ensuring that this year is no different as the whiskey brings its proud Irish spirit to life through a series of global virtual events and collaborations that encourage everyone to adapt an Irish state of mind and join in to safely celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2021.”
In addition, Jameson has collaborated with Brooklyn-based internet football club Nowhere FC. The collection will launch on 10 March on the Jameson and Nowhere FC websites.
Jameson has also launched a new competition that offers one fan a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience for St Patrick’s Day in 2022. To enter the contest, consumers must let the brand know where they would like to spend St Patrick’s Day next year and why.
