Fluère Drinks sponsors Andretti United racing team
Non-alcoholic ‘spirits’ producer Fluère Drinks has signed a sponsorship deal with the Andretti United Extreme E racing team.
Wellness company Next Frontier Brands, which purchased Fluère Drinks earlier this year, has signed a principal partnership deal with electric motor racing team Andretti United. The team was formed by US-based Andretti Autosport and UK-founded United Autosports.
Jason Roth, co-founder of Next Frontier Brands, said: “Fluère‘s ongoing commitment to sustainability fits perfectly with the ethos of the Extreme E racing series. Becoming partners with the Andretti United team is a great way to demonstrate our modern eco-friendly values in an exciting new form of motorsport.”
Electric off-road racing series Extreme E will premiere with its inaugural race in Al-Ula in Saudi Arabia on 2 April. During the race, the Andretti United team will run a livery inspired by Fluère’s Spiced Cane Dark Roast expression on its Odyssey 21 race car.
Zak Brown, team owner and chairman of United Autosports, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Next Frontier Brands to the Andretti United Extreme E team.
“I can’t wait to see their Fluère livery on our Odyssey 21 SUV, it will really stand out and make an impact on the grid. I hope we can do the company and all our sponsors who are supporting us this year proud at the opening round in Saudi Arabia in a few weeks’ time.”
The series, which sees teams enter a male and female driver for each race, will feature five events in locations that ‘highlight the impact of climate change’.
The Fluère-branded Odyssey 21 race car entered by Andretti United will be driven by FIA World Rallycross champion Timmy Hansen and former European Rally champion Catie Munnings.
