Beveland bottles citrus-flavoured Jodhpur Mandore gin
By Owen BellwoodSpanish drinks group Beveland Distillers has launched citrus-flavoured Jodhpur Mandore gin, which is made with macerations of Indian fruits.
Jodhpur Mandore is made with a base of Jodhpur London Dry Gin, which has been blended with macerations of native Indian citrus fruits.
The new gin is flavoured with fruits including bitter orange, calamansi and Buddha’s hand, a fruit noted for its fragrance.
Bottled at 43% ABV, Jodhpur Mandore was created in honour of the Mandore Botanical Gardens, located on the outskirts of the city of Jodhpur in India.
The new expression joins Jodhpur London Dry Gin, Jodhpur Reserve and Jodhpur Spicy in the range, and is priced between RRP €24 (US$29) and €26 (US$31) per bottle.
Earlier this month, Beveland Distillers also expanded its rum portfolio with the launch of Cuban brand Doble 9, which boasts a 15-year-old bottling.
