Vinexpo New York takes The Buzz online for 2021
Trade show Vinexpo New York will host a virtual iteration of The Buzz, a dedicated space at the event that promotes knowledge exchange and discussions, throughout 2021.
The Virtual Buzz will focus on current events, issues and trends affecting the beverage alcohol sector in the US.
The series will begin with The Spirit of Mentorship in the Drinks Industry, which will feature a panel of industry leaders discussing their experience with mentorships.
The discussion will cover how mentorships have positively impacted their careers in alcoholic drinks, as well as advice on how to obtain a mentor.
Confirmed panellists are: Nicole Austin, general manager and distiller, Cascade Hollow Distilling; Franky Marshall, modern bartender/educator; and Claudia Schubert, president, US spirits and Canada, Diageo North America.
The discussion will be moderated by Monique Huston, vice president wholesale spirits, Winebow.
