Bardinet reveals new look

Bardinet brandy has unveiled a new bottle design and advertising campaign to showcase its French heritage.

The new design for Bardinet brandy celebrates the brand’s French heritage

The packaging update for Bardinet, which has been rolled out across the VSOP and XO expressions, includes a new slimmer bottle shape and ‘bolder’ branding.

The design also celebrates the brand’s French heritage with new details including the founding date, the creator’s signature and an eagle emblem.

The new look also seeks to enhance consumer understanding of the brandy with VSOP and XO defined in full on the bottle, along with an explanation of the production process.

To highlight the new design, Bardinet has rolled out a new campaign this month with the tagline ‘crafted with French passion’.

The advertising push seeks to showcase Bardinet’s French traditions and the passion of the people that helped create the brandy. The campaign comprises photographs of the production and images of the new bottle alongside signature serves.

Marion Divaret, international brand manager for Bardinet, said: “Bardinet brandy is for all to enjoy, whether they are experimenting with brandy in cocktails, or prefer to drink our spirit neat.

“By updating our packaging and launching our striking new advertising campaign, we invite everyone to explore the rounded, balanced taste of Bardinet brandy, which we have been crafting with passion for more than a century.”

Bardinet XO is recommended served neat, over ice or mixed with fresh lime and ginger beer to make a French Mule. The suggested pairing for the VSOP is mixed with tonic water.

Bardinet was founded in 1857 by Paul Bardinet and joined the portfolio of French firm La Martiniquaise-Bardinet in 1993. The brandy is aged and blended at the Domaine de Fleurenne estate near Bordeaux in France.

The company also produces Beehive brandy, comprising VSOP and XO expressions.
