Shoryu Ramen Cocktails at Home

London’s Shoryu Ramen has created a menu of ready-made cocktails, which can be delivered alongside its DIY ramen kits.

Cocktails on offer included the Cedroni, a Japanese twist on the classic Negroni; the Tiki Passion, a tropical cocktail with a kick of Japanese rum; and the Yuzu Jasmine Tea, a bright, non-alcoholic iced tea bursting with citrus flavours.

The cocktails are priced from £10 (US$13) for two servings and can be ordered for delivery across the UK from japancentre.com.

Laphroaig Live

Beam Suntory-owned Islay Scotch whisky Laphroaig will celebrate St Andrews Day (30 November) with its final Laphroaig Live event of the year.

Running from 6.15pm GMT, the Laphroaig Live event will be hosted by John Campbell, distillery manager, and Simon Brooking, Laphroaig ambassador. The duo will host a live tasting of Laphroaig’s second instalment in the Ian Hunter series, Book Two: Building an Icon, as well as a look back at the highlights of the year at the distillery.

The live-streamed event will also see Campbell and Brooking answer questions from members of its Friends of Laphroaig club.

The Women of Whisky

Drinks accelerator Distill Ventures will host the second instalment of its whisky conference series, The Women of Whisky: Perspectives on Inclusion, Representation, and the Future.

Hosted by whisky writer Becky Paskin, the latest instalment in the series will include panellists such as Julie Bramham, brand director of Johnnie Walker; Ashley Frey, co-founder of Frey Ranch Estate Distillery, in Nevada, US; and Laura Davies, distillery manager at Welsh producer Penderyn.

Running online on Wednesday 2 December from 12pm EDT, the panel will discuss first-hand experiences working in whisky, and the challenges and opportunities that have followed as a result.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

From Wednesday (2 December), The Ivy Chelsea Garden will be transformed into Santa’s Workshop to celebrate the festive season.

The restaurant and bar will be adorned with a ‘show-stopping’ display, complete with Santa’s mailroom, reindeer stables, a giant Christmas tree and Santa’s sleigh. Inside, guests will be able to sample Christmas cocktails including the Poinsettia, which is made with Cointreau, cranberry juice and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Champagne.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden will also serve a Rudolph-inspired dessert, featuring vanilla ice cream with a honeycomb centre drizzled with hot salted caramel sauce topped with an edible ruby red nose and buttery biscuit antlers.

Grey Goose Friendsmas Feast

Chef Gizzi Erskine and musician Stephen Manderson, otherwise known as Professor Green, partnered with Grey goose to create a festive feasting kit.

The Giz ‘n’ Green Friendsmas Feast delivery kit includes a three-course Grey Goose-infused Christmas menu, Christmas crackers and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka. All proceeds from the sale of each Friendsmas Feast kits will be donated to on-trade charity Hospitality Action.

Friendsmas Feast kits are available to order in London zones one and two priced at £65 (US$87) for a two-person kit and £100 (US$133) for a four-person kit.

Skylight Cinema

London rooftop venue Skylight will reopen on Thursday (3 December), offering a Christmas cinema experience.

The east London venue will offer a collection of outdoor and physically distanced festive eating and drinking experiences, including a rooftop igloo village, spacious Après Ski Lodge bar, Off-Piste Speakeasy bar and Christmas Cocktail Cinema Experience.

Across the rooftop bar, guests will be able to enjoy a Bavarian-inspired menu serving indulgent food and warming tipples.

Hacha Festive Mirror Margaritas

London agave specialist Hacha has created two festive twists on its signature Mirror Margarita cocktail, each available for at-home delivery.

Hacha partnered with mixer brand Two Keys to create the Clementine and Cinnamon Mirror Margarita, which adds Spanish clementines and the ‘subtle sweet spice of cinnamon’ to the Tequila-based classic, and the Mulled Mirror Margarita, which combines the ‘warm winter spices of Christmas’.

The festive Mirror Margarita serves are available to purchase online from hachabar.com/shop priced at £19.95 (US$27) for two cocktails. Delivery is available nationwide.
