Lyaness at Home

London bar Lyaness has launched a delivery service, offering drinkers in across the UK the chance to enjoy its cocktails at home.

The Lyaness at Home service offers bottled versions of five of the bar’s most popular serves, including the Rock Pool Sazerac (pictured) and Beetle Boulevardier. Bottled cocktails are available in three different sizes, for one person, two people or a group of five to share.

Prices start from £13 (US$17) and drinks can be ordered via online retailer Shopify.

Speakeasy at Home

Also launching a delivery service this week is London’s Swift, Nightjar and Oriole.

The three renowned London bars have launched Speakeasy At Home, a UK-wide delivery service offering pre-prepared cocktails from Swift, Nightjar and Oriole. Drinks available include the Ruffian, made with Old Forester Bourbon, fig, maple and Brazilian bitters, and the Tickle My Fancy made with Tanqueray gin, Electric liqueur, Pennyroyal cordial, Rinomato Bianco aperitivo, fizzy muscat candy, and freshly squeezed tangerine and lime juice.

Each cocktail is available in 220ml pouches offering two servings and 500ml bottles providing five serves. Cocktails are priced from £6 (US$8).

Tia Maria One of a Kind

Coffee liqueur brand Tia Maria has launched a new podcast series, called One of a Kind.

The new series is hosted by Australian TV presenter Erin Holland and features interviews with fashion designers, entrepreneurs, authors, and a man who beat cancer at a young age. The first episode features author, actor, singer and social influencer Suzan Mutesi.

One of a Kind is now available to stream on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Pip Personal

Drinks consultant Zoe Burgess has launched Pip Personal, a bespoke service to create cocktails tailored specifically to your preferences.

The Pip Personal service aims to create a perfect cocktail, based on your own personal tastes, hobbies, interests, experiences and “nostalgic points of view”. The end result will be a unique cocktail delivered to your door with a recipe card so you can make and enjoy the drink at home.

Available for £150 (US$197) per personal serve, the Pip Personal service can be subscribed to through the Atelier Pip website.

York Gin festive friends

York Gin has partnered with Xmas Mix Radio to launch a search for the most festive pet.

Animal lovers can be in with a chance of winning a £100 (US$131) voucher and bottle of York Gin if they share a picture of their festive furry friend on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #YorkXmasPets.

The winner of the competition will be announced on Xmas Mix Radio on Christmas Eve (24 December).

Spirited Speakers

Makers Mark owner Beam Suntory has premiered the latest episode in its Spirited Speaker Series, featuring an interview with Sucharita Kodali, vice president retail analyst at market research firm Forrester.

In the latest episode of the online video series, Kodali and Ed Stening, global head of travel retail marketing at Beam Suntory, discuss the topic of omnichannel in the travel retail space and how digital can improve experiences.

Kahlúa Global Coffee Cocktail Challenge

Kahlúa is inviting bartenders around the world to create the next coffee cocktail in its Beyond Espresso Martini challenge.

The online competition tasks consumers, baristas and mixologists with looking beyond the Espresso Martini to craft cocktails that celebrate coffee and could become the successor to the iconic serve.

Glasgow Distillery tastings

Scotland’s Glasgow Distillery will host the latest instalment in its series of online whisky tastings on Thursday (19 November).

The series, which runs online every Thursday, offers whisky fans an insight into the craftsmanship that goes into Glasgow Distillery’s whiskies. The online session will feature a tasting of five Glasgow Distillery whiskies, including The Original, Peated Release No. 1 and Triple Distilled Release No. 1.

Priced at £35 (US$46) per person, tickets for the online masterclasses can be booked on the Glasgow Distillery website.
