Pernod Ricard North America makes exec appointments
Jameson Irish whiskey owner Pernod Ricard has made two executive appointments to its North America team, including naming John Barrett as senior vice president, chief commercial officer.

On 14 September, Barrett will succeed Julien Hemard, who recently moved into the position of group sales transformation officer for Pernod Ricard.
Barrett formerly worked for Kites Advisors where he provided strategic counsel to several new start-up opportunities. He previously led the go-to-market and transformation for the US$16 billion Frito Lay Division of PepsiCo, and also held numerous general manager roles with Frito Lay in the US and PepsiCo in Canada.
Meanwhile, on 1 October Vincent Turpin will move from his current post of director/chief finance officer at Pernod Ricard Chivas Brothers to the position of senior vice president – finance, Pernod Ricard North America.
Turpin will take over from Mauve Croizat, who has been promoted to managing director, Pernod Ricard Sweden and Northern Europe.
Both Barrett and Turpin will report to Ann Mukherjee, chairman and CEO, Pernod Ricard North America.
Mukherjee said: “I am delighted to welcome two proven and experienced leaders to the Pernod Ricard NA leadership team.
