Hepple Spirits partners with Cask Liquid Marketing

English producer Hepple Spirits has teamed up with marketing and distribution agency Cask Liquid Marketing in the UK.

Hepple Spirits launched Hepple Gin in October 2015

Effective from August this year, Cask Liquid Marketing will be responsible for on- and off-trade sales and distribution of Hepple Spirits, as well as the brand’s marketing.

Founded by barman Nick Strangeway, chef Valentine Warner, drinks developer Cairbry Hill, managing director Walter Riddell and distiller Chris Garden, Hepple Spirits is based in Northumberland National Park, England. The company launched Hepple Gin in October 2015.

Riddell said: “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Cask Liquid Marketing who have a proven track record of finding and building high quality brands, and who see so much potential in our story and development.

“I would like to thank the team at Lightbox for the work they have done to grow our presence over the past year and a half and we look forward to working with Cask who will share our vision widely.”

Other products within the Hepple Spirits portfolio include Hepple Sloe and Hawthorn Gin, and the single botanical Douglas Fir Vodka.

The distillery has garnered a reputation for its unusual triple distillation production method, designed to allow the group to “tease fuller, fresher flavours from the other ingredients that grow on the estate”.

Stuart Ekins, co-founder and director of Cask Liquid Marketing, said: “At Cask we are constantly looking for outstanding brands to add to our portfolio, which is why we wanted to work with Hepple.

“There are so many aspects of the brand that we find exciting: from the innovative way they make their spirits to the juniper sustainability programme they have developed, and then there is the wild and beautiful place that the distillery is located.”
