ELLC to reopen patio bar this Friday

East London Liquor Company (ELLC) will reopen its outdoor bar on Friday following months of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

ELLC will reopen its patio bar from Friday 10 July

The patio bar will welcome its first guests from 5pm on Friday 10 July. The reopening will only include outdoor table service.

The bar will be open from 5pm-11pm on Fridays, 1pm-11pm on Saturdays and 1pm-6pm on Sundays.

The on-trade in England was allowed to reopen indoors and outdoors from 4 July after the UK government ordered all bars, pubs and restaurants to close on 20 March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A nationwide lockdown was then brought in on 23 March.

Alex Wolpert, ELLC founder, said: “There’s no denying the past few months have been difficult for us all.

“We launched our online shop delivering nationwide at the beginning of lockdown and have unveiled our first canned cocktail range, however, we have missed seeing people at the bar and making our regular customers their favourite drinks.

“On Friday, 10 July, we welcome Londoners to safely come down and drink some good booze with good people.”

July also marks the six years since ELLC first opened. To mark the anniversary, ELLC is giving away free drinks, prizes from some of the company’s favourite alcohol brands and is also running weekly online shop specials via social media channels.

To begin its birthday month celebrations, ELLC will post different specials for its online shop every Monday. This week, the firm is offering a free Spirit of Gin Tour and Tasting voucher, worth £35 (around US$44), with every order. Head to eastlondonliquorcompany.com for more details.
