Inception Group thanks NHS with £25,000 bar tab
Mr Fogg’s owner Inception Group is offering a £25,000 (US$30,780) bar tab to NHS workers to say thank you for their “phenomenal response to the pandemic”.

The London hospitality group, which also includes Cahoots, Barts and Bunga Bunga, is planning to start reopening its venues from 4 July in accordance with UK government guidance.
NHS (National Health Service) workers will be able to enjoy a free drink by showing their NHS identification badges at any of the group’s bars. NHS workers can claim a free drink every day until the £25,000 amount has been reached.
Charlie Gilkes, co-founder of Inception Group, said: “We want to express our deepest gratitude to NHS workers, who have been the backbone of our country throughout this pandemic, so we are thrilled to announce that they will be welcomed back with open arms into our venues for some extremely well-deserved, and we imagine, much-needed, drinks on us.
“These have been the most challenging times that we, as a business, and the hospitality sector in general, have ever faced. However, no industry has been more critical, or worked harder under immense pressure during this period than our NHS, so we would like to reward their extraordinary efforts.”
In order to create a safe working environment when its venues reopen, Inception Group will be conducting temperature checks for staff, making hand sanitation dispensers available at key points throughout each venue, introducing a one-way system for entry and exit where possible and “rigorous” cleaning routines.
Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair, London, will be Inception Group’s first venue to reopen on 4 July, with other venues scattered over the coming months.
Cahoots Ticket Hall in Soho will open on 9 July, but Cahoots Underground and Cahoots Control Room, both in Soho, will not reopen until 3 September.
The Bunga Bunga sites in Battersea and Covent Garden, Maggie’s in Chelsea and Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration in Covent Garden will not reopen until 1 October.
All opening dates are subject to change.
