Team Labs Series

Bacardi-owned Oxley Gin has launched a new social media campaign that will see the brand collaborate with bars across the UK and US.

The Team Labs Series will see teams of bartenders create a range of Oxley cocktails, using only the ingredients and tools available to them at home, in return for a four-figure virtual tip jar provided by the brand.

Videos from the series will be available to watch on Instagram (@oxleygin). Bars set to feature in the series include Employees Only, Lyaness and Artesian.

20,000 Mile Hospitality Challenge

On Thursday (4 June), trade charity Hospitality Action will launch its Hospitality Challenge, which tasks members of the on-trade community with collectively cycling, running or walking the length of the UK coastline.

Participants will be encouraged to virtually travel the 19,491 mile distance, by each contributing any distance they are able to. In the process, the initiative aims to raise funds to support UK hospitality employees affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The videos are live on Instagram and can be watched at @banksrums.

Together We Toast

For drinkers looking to support the on-trade while enjoying a cocktail with friends, Campari-owned Aperol has launched the Together we Toast social media campaign.

Drinkers catching up with friends via video call are encouraged to share an Aperol Spritz cocktail and post a photo of the moment on Instagram with the hashtag #TogetherWeToast.

For every post tagged, Aperol will donate US$5 towards Another Round, Another Rally – a non-profit financial resource for the hospitality industry. The brand is hoping to donate up to US$50,000 to the charity through the campaign.
