Launched in 2015, Lanique is a 39% ABV spirit distilled from the essence of rose. The brand said its “growth in popularity” has led to an increase in on-trade demand and the expansion of its team.

At Lanique, Iucolino will focus on sales leads and new accounts, create and drive new cocktail listings, and support activations, on-trade training and new product development.

Iucolino has more than seven years of experience managing London bars including Chiltern Firehouse and venues operated by the Inception Group.

In 2018, Iucolino was a semi-finalist in the Great Britain leg of the Diageo World Class cocktail competition, and won the Bulleit Frontier cocktail competition and the UK Bimber Distillery Martini challenge. In 2019, he was also a finalist in The Vero Bartender Amaro Montenegro competition.

Pickering joins Lanique from Britvic’s incubator arm Wisehead Productions. In her new role, Pickering will be responsible for managing and identifying the right Lanique brand partnerships, ensuring consistent messaging globally across all marketing channels, and managing events and activations.

In addition, Pickering has worked as event and business development manager for mixer brand Fentimans, and has worked for drinks companies such as Diageo and Heineken, and creative agency RPM.

According to the brand, Lanique has grown 130% year-on-year across its on- and off-trade channels. The company is looking to increase its presence across the retail channel in the UK.
