SB invites industry to celebrate excellence

Leaders in spirits retail, distribution, marketing, production and sustainability will be celebrated during the inaugural Spirits Business Awards ceremony in London, which members of the trade are invited to.

The first Spirits Business Awards will take place on 2 December

On Monday 2 December, The Spirits Business team will recognise excellence across all areas of the spirits industry during an awards ceremony at The Club at The Ivy.

Judged by members of The Spirits Business editorial team and a panel of independent spirits experts, the awards have been separated into five areas: Retail and Marketing; Sustainability and Innovation; Tourism; Products; and People.

“The Spirits Business Awards has been launched to celebrate outstanding achievements across the breadth of the spirits industry,” said Amy Hopkins, editor of The Spirits Business. 

“Our sector is vast and complex, relying on the abilities of people spanning a range of disciplines – many of whom stay out of the spotlight. This new awards series seeks to give praise where praise is due.

“We look forward to meeting our award winners and industry friends to enjoy a festive drink next month.”

During the ceremony, The Spirits Business team will outline the philosophy of the new awards series, which follows the world-renowned Global Spirits Masters blind-tasting series.

The event is free to attend and offers the perfect opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas, celebrate achievements and learn more about the pioneering work shaping their industry.
