German Gymnasium’s Game of Thrones-themed cocktails

London restaurant and bar German Gymnasium has released a new seasonal cocktail menu, inspired by hit HBO show Game of Thrones.

The Game of Thrones-themed cocktails are inspired by the hit show’s central characters

The new drinks list, which is inspired by the show’s main characters, has been created in collaboration with Brown-Forman’s American whiskey brands Jack Daniel’s, Jack Daniel’s Rye, Woodford Reserve Bourbon and Woodford Reserve Rye.

Available until 20 November, the menu features four cocktails including the Stark’s Old Fashioned, a twist on the classic Bourbon-based serve, and Winter is Coming, which is served in a goblet emblazoned with the Stark’s house insignia, a dire wolf.

The “fiery” A Dance with Dragons drink is inspired by Daenerys Targaryen, the ‘Mother of Dragons’, while the “fruity and velvety” A Song of Ice and Fire serve pays tribute to Cersei Lannister.

The cocktails will be served in the King’s Cross venue’s Grand Café, which houses an autumnal tree inspired by the heart tree in Game of Thrones.
